WHO IS TEE CEE?

A Royal Television Society award winning TV Creative - Talisha Cree Johnson known professionally as Tee Cee, is a TV Producer & Presenter, Writer-Director and Author who made her writer-director debut on her short film 'Too Autistic for Black' commissioned by Warner Bros. Discovery, streaming on discovery+ for Black History Month 2022. To date Tee Cee has won ten TV / digital commissions for her ideas and has worked in unscripted development across a plethora of award-winning broadcasters and independent production companies including Atomized Studios, Full Fat TV, Tuesday's Child TV, BBC Studios - Digital Originals and BBC Three where she won x4 series / pilot commissions for both linear and digital TV shows, formats and content including winning BBC Three Birmingham's first in-house commission 'My Mate's A Bad Date' (Broadcasts International Hot Picks Formats 2020). Tee Cee won her first three commissions for BBC Three within 9 months of her first contract at the age of 25!
In 2023, Tee Cee landed her first ever press junket interviewing American musician Tobi Nwigwe for his debut acting role in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. She also co-hosted BBC Live Lessons - Anti-bullying Week episode for CBBC. In Summer 23, Tee Cee also returned to the stage to present at the 2023 Birmingham Festival, which she previously presented at in Summer 22 as part of the Commonwealth Games. Previously, Tee Cee worked for the BAFTA award winning Children’s Channel CBBC as a TV Presenter and Digital Researcher - her work included presenting on three CBBC TV shows and winning x5 commissions for BBC Children’s YouTube originals (CBBC & CBeebies). She formerly trained as a Broadcast Assistant and worked for the award winning radio station BBC West Midlands. At age 16 she became the self-published Author of her debut children's book titled ‘Snow Black, the Seven Rastas’ and Other Short Stories and was dubbed a ‘Black History Month Hero’ by Birmingham primary schools. In 2019, a second edition of the book was published receiving raving reviews from writer Benjamin Zephaniah and novelist Dorothy Koomson.
Off camera, Tee Cee can be found inspiring the next generation through professional speaking, digital originals content creation and empowering young women as she champions personal and professional development through her platform 'Not Your Average Girl', which supports young women in entry / early TV and digital.

Tee Cee has become a face of the UK young entrepreneurship scene, who at 19-years-old had a stint in launching and running her own magazine, Skool Girl Online - Birmingham's only lifestyle magazine for young women (2013 - 2019) and aged 18 was the former Executive Producer and coordinator of Birmingham’s annual Celebrating Youth Excellence Awards (2012 - 2015), overseeing a team of young people under 25 to produce a glittering ceremony with over 300 delegates that recognised the outstanding achievements and positive contributions of young people, parents, educators and organisations in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Tee Cee has received several accolades for her work and contributions to her community.
